Oh, I am behind!
On sharing teasers! It has been a busy couple of weeks, I have been working hard on a new wedding album to share with potential wedding clients, along with a guest book as well as adding some new things to my website include FAQ for both portrait and wedding clients - check it out and let me know if I missed any important question!
Now on to the teasers...
First I had the pleasure of photographing Brian and Jenn and their two adorable fur babies.

I first photographed this little guy when he was 6 months old, now he is two and a half and full of great stories (they sure grow fast!) I wish I could remember exactly his point with this shot...

And finally I got to photograph my little nephew Mr. G and his doggy Jack. Honestly my nephew wasn't too in to being in a photograph with his doggy (he does see him every day!) when there was all this space to run, but I love this sideways look as I tried to coax him to stand with Jack...

And there are more I'll be putting up soon so check back often!

Love You Dad!
I did my first Operation Love ReUnited sitting this week.
Daddy is already in Afghanistan so they brought the signs they're going to hold up at his homecoming!
This is little Sammy - I could have eaten him up - ADORABLE and super sweet - I'd photograph him any day!

God Bless you Neil! Thank you for your selfless sacrifice to be away from your family and serve our country!

My new endeavor
I very excited to announce that I was selected in to this program this morning.
If you are man or woman serving our country and are deployed or getting ready to be deployed please contact this organization, this is a very special opportunity and you and your family deserve it!

If you have ever been through a military deployment, there are no words to explain how hard it is to send the father or mother of your children off to some foreign dangerous land, leaving you all behind…. Alone. It’s indescribable to watch their faces light up as their mother comes up the stairs of the airport after months, possibly a year or more, of not hugging eachother.
Emotions fly through the main lobby, it’s so very good to be home.
Your base’s Family Support Squadron will help you with your deployment. But the last thing on your mind when your wife or husband arrives home after a 4 to 18 month tour, is capturing all this love– on film. Most people are so overwhelmed with emotions they forget to simply point and shoot the camera they are grasping of their child’s first hug, or that single tear of relief from a mother being able to hold her twenty year old son again. With the help of Operation: Love ReUnited and local photographers near your base, you can.
The Operation helps those long months go by a little faster. It’s designed to capture moments that you will never remember. It’s art. It’s love. And it’s all made possible by artists wanting to give something back to those who make the United States what it is, and ask for nothing in return- but to come home.
If you are a member of the United States Military, and are interested in having very special and touching images with a patriotic edge taken of you and/or your family before a deployment or during, and at your reunion, please contact us now. You will receive a substantial package as a gift in appreciation for all you have been through as a military member. The package will always include a 4x6 album of pre-deployment images, such as a child’s hand clasped in his parent’s with the faint glimpse of a BDU sleeve, a marine in dress with his family, a sailor with his parents right before departure, or a child playing dress up in combat boots and a helmet. The album will be sent to the deployed soldier by the photographer, at no cost to you. Also with your package, all session fees will be waived. Your photographer may have a designated package for Operation: Love ReUnited participants at their discretion with signed model release.

Life's Blessings
I met with Nancy and Dennis from Harp Worship today (www.harpworship.com) they have an awesome ministry going serving the men and women of our armed forces. It was such a blessing to meet both of them, it is obviously the start of something awesome! The Army(!!!) is going to purchase some of Nancy's CDs for their soldiers but they need a more patriotic (and not religious - sigh) CD cover so guess who is going to help them design it!
Stayed tuned to see the new design!
And in the meantime check out Nancy's CD, it is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Mike
I love high school seniors - I love getting to know them, and I love photographing their personalities.
Mike is going to be one of my graduating class of 2009 representatives so we did a quick mini-sitting last weekend. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so we had to do it all indoors but Mike was a GREAT sport.
Here he is looking suave before prom:
Do you know Mike? Be sure to ask him for a referral card for your senior portraits, each referral card is good for extra "goodies".
Don't know Mike but still want the "goodies"? Email me and mention that you saw Mike on my Blog and I'll send you a special coupon!
